In summer it is not unusual for fog to hover above water and the shore. It often lifts mid-morning as the sun burns through it. In those moments everything is bathed in silence and mystery.

One of the pleasure of living in Maine is seeing the four seasons. Certain scenes come alive in a particular season. What caught my attention here were the vibrant red vines clinging to the shingled building.
