Does the Sovereign beam of 10'10" exceed the upper limit recommended for a heavy displacement, full keel, traditional sailboat with an LOD of 29'6"? In the event of a knockdown and being turned upside down the massive flush deck will create a substantial suction which could counter the ballast and delay righting stability? Keeping in mind these designs have no cockpit and despite being slightly cambered the large deck surface is totally flush and will generate suction. Also when inverted the suction effect produced by the flush deck may combine with the mast and rigging weight to further stall the righting stability? I am not a soothsayer of doom and gloom, these are just my own personal opinions and I stand to be corrected if they are wrong!
