I don't know about the stability but have a comment about the deck. It is not "slightly cambered" It is actually more cambered than any other deck I have seen. This makes it really comfortable to walk on when heeled (on the windward side of course). And not much water will stay there either, even if the bulwarks are quite high. /matti
