A Dutch sailing magazine is researching the Hystere yachtdesigns from Dutch designer Haalmeyer. These designs were based upon fish shapes, both below and above the water, usually with a reverse sheer in the bow, and the greatest width on deck is before the mast. Any information on the whereabouts and history of these interesting designs is welcome. (and yes, it is realized that fish usually swim below the water, while a boat is moving on the turbulent air/water interface...)
