I noticed in the school's brochure that one can do the entire course in cad if one so chooses. Now does that have to be rigidly adhered to in Rhino or could one use another progam like TurboCad? I also noticed that Westlawn seems quite flexible in that department and lists a handful of industry standard cad programs a student could choose from. I'm sure 3d modeling has many merits as a designer, but I've yet to come across a set of boat plans that included 3d renderings and/or assembly drawings.
