Of course Rhino wins hands down on price and functionality without question. However, software from company's like Microsoft, Autodesk, SolidWorks, and Adobe so saturate the marketplace that I doubt you'll find many community colleges providing courses for anything other than those in that department.I would imgaine, if one had a good grasp of Rhino one could port those skills to other cad programs eventhough, their routines and interfaces may differ somewhat. I noticed that Professional boatbuilder provides online training in both Autocad and Rhino with Cliff Estes who authored Rhino's 3d modeling for the marine industry tutorial. Nevertheless, it appears Tom's course seems to appear more in depth among other things and consequently quite a bit more expensive. I own and have worked with Rhino's 3d modeling for the marine industry tutorial and still think that Rhinomarine and or Fastship still has a lot to offer a beginner like myself who really lacks the frame of reference with which to work with outside of books and others designs. How much they offer the experts I know not, but from my perspective it seems to be structured and organized by the experts.
