I’m afraid selling individual lessons isn’t as appropriate with the CAD Course. For one thing the lessons should be very quick to complete, so you wouldn’t really be spreading payments out over much time. For another, if you’ve invested in the software, you really should get complete training. Also, given the ability to take the whole CAD Course in a relatively short period of time, and the tremendous value at the moment in the job market for yacht draftsmen trained in Rhino, I hate to think of anyone not going right ahead and finishing the work. Finally we have two of us working with CAD Course students now and we have plenty of work to say the least, and the number of students signing up is about twice what it was last year. We’d be afraid that if we broke the costs down by the lesson we’d be inundated with too many students to handle. Remember, we are handling not only our own main curriculum students who want to learn Rhino, but also practicing designers and builders who want Rhino training, and many students from other schools which do not offer this training. This a different situation from the main YDS curriculum where it will normally take most students at least 4 years to complete the curriculum. In that case there is a definite benefit to the student in being able to break down the payments over time.
