Basically Rhino like any Windows program will display to whatever degree of resolution the monitor will support. It just depends on how much you want to spend on a monitor. We have found just about any standard graphics package including Intel on the mother board graphics will work just fine with Rhino, which is not a terribly demanding package. While the really nice graphics cards may speed photorealistic rendering, you don’t really need them for just plain screen resolution. At present we use a 1280 x 1024 monitor and find that quite reasonable for day to day design use. I do periodically photo render which you can tune so that you don’t get any visible “jaggies” at all. There are settings in Rhino that trade off speed for smoothness when rendering and it is worthwhile experimenting to get the best compromise between speed and beautiful rendering.
