Arapaho: hull No. 28 built 1956 as a kit boat - sold to
and finished by naval architect. As far as equipment goes: Sails: Main with boom cover Furling jib Hank on jib 130 furling genny (only used half of one season) Spinnaker Ballooner All sails are older save the genny, the furling jib has a rip in the foot. It is pretty well gone to be honest, never had any UV cover on it. Major patching or replacement is in order. Maintenance: New ballast bolts - 2001-2002 New floor timbers - 2002 New centerboard trunk - 2002 New centerboard - 2002 New centerboard trunk cap - 2002 New keel section at centerboard - 2002-3 Two additional ballast bolts at scarf of keel repair - 2002-3 All new windows 1/4 inch Plexi. - 2006 Rebuilt motor well - 2006 Replaced some oak deadwood and vertically inlayed a 14 inch SS rod in a bed of epoxy and silica in the heel of the deadwood to stabilize the rudder, then glass cloth covered aft end of deadwood (both sides) in epoxy - 2006 Last Survey 2000 Boat, Engine and trailer insured for $14000 Complete photographic records available. Equipment: Hard top and canvas soft top (with frames) Bow roller with Bruce anchor Stern anchor steel fluke with chain and rode Compass Porti-potty Stainless steel two burner propane stove Interior cushions Cockpit cushions Sea table and port table 2 fire extinguishers 12 volt battery, battery box and battery switch Hand bilge pump Two Rule 800 GPH electric bilge pumps Stanchions and life lines Head sail reefing system All lines lead to cockpit for single-handed sailing Bronze flagstaff base and teak pole with US Yacht Ensign Trailer: designed by Glen L Naval Architects. Tandem with four wheel surge disc brakes, 15 inch wheels with heavy duty trailer tires. 5000 miles on tires, spare is new. Engine: four stroke Mercury outboard. 6 horse power, long shaft, high thrust prop, with Alternator. Engine has less than 7 gallons of gasoline run thought it. Pushes boat at hull speed at 1/3 throttle. Heater: Tiny tot charcoal heater with SS Charlie Noble. Forward hatch is original Cy Hamlin hatch. Companion way boards with louvers for ventilation.
