This companion volume to the massive Machinery's
Handbook is intended to teach you to get the most out of the
Handbook's extensive resources. While your reviewer has been
able to work through the Handbook, without the Guide, he has been
working with this sort of information for approaching half a
century. The Handbook could be intimidating for those just
starting out on a technical education and the Guide is likely to
give the student and technician the confidence to use the Handbook
to the fullest extent. The bottom line is that anyone who wishes to do any design work for even the simplest mechanisms should have both the Handbook and the Guide. These are extremely cost effective tools which you will use almost daily for an entire career. (280 pages) (tm) |
