This version can have a sloop rig if desired, but she's big enough to be a schooner, and we might rig her that way ourselves. A big boat for her length, the accommodations include a list of elements similar to those in the 24-footer, but greatly expanded. There is a master stateroom aft, with a large chart table and hanging lockers plus a head with shower. Between the cabins is the engine room, with the engine on one side of the mast and a passage on the other. Note that there is excellent access to the engine. Next forward is the galley on both sides, and then the main cabin containing two settees with table between and alcove berths outboard. Next forward is a large head with shower and then the chain locker. The 36 is amply large enough to be quite a home afloat for for a family. Once you get her built she'd be pretty inexpensive to maintain due to her simplicity.
